The Greater Lawrence Community Action Council (GLCAC) encourages and promotes the improvement of community life in Greater Lawrence with special emphasis on, but not limited to, the initiation of programs in education, social services, childcare, health, housing youth employment and related fields. Aberthaw Construction and Davis Square Architects working with GLCAC have started the process to transform a congested commercial site on a busy Lawrence street into a new a new 20,000 sf childcare center and outdoor play area. 

When completed, the project will also include after-school programs, administrative offices, and a commercial kitchen serving all of the GLCAC’s area centers.
