About Us

OVER A CENTURY OF FULFILMENT

There are very few, companies that can lay claim to continuous operation of more than 100 years. This fact holds true throughout all industries but is particularly evident in building construction where risk runs high and companies come and go.

And there are even fewer companies that can say they have operated under the same name for over a century, survived the ups and downs of economic and cultural shifts, and continued to flourish in an increasingly competitive marketplace where newcomers and old-timers alike vie for a piece of a progressively shrinking pool of new business opportunities.

Naturally, there are changes over the years—people age and retire, companies are bought and sold, but the fact that Aberthaw has changed hands only twice in the past 120 years speaks to the quality of the brand that the name represents.  And our customers take comfort in knowing that current ownership has been with the company for close to 30 years.

Aberthaw—we’re a company and a name that has stood the test of time since 1894.

Services

Pre-Construction Services

The key to successfully providing accurate and reliable budgeting on any project relies on two key components, understanding the project scope and combining that understanding with a experienced pre-construction team. At Aberthaw we offer a pre-construction leadership team that has the experience in the estimating and management to make your project successful. We have the experience, market knowledge and tools to explore design alternatives.  We excel at collaborating with the owner and design team to arrive at the optimal solutions while maintaining the design schedule to ensure construction starts on time.

Design-Bid-Build

Aberthaw will be the single point of responsibility for both the design and construction of a project. Design is provided by Aberthaw’s longtime architectural firm partners who are carefully selected based on their area of specialty in the particular project type and industry sector that best serve our clients’ needs.

Construction Management

The reason why Aberthaw has so many repeat customers is because of the superior level of Construction Management services it provides. We work directly with the owner, design team and major subcontractors and suppliers often engaging them early in pre-construction to  produce greater benefits throughout the construction phase.  Our experience as a GC and CM bridges the gap between the two functions.  Subcontractors respect us for well-executed jobs that allow them to do their part as planned.
