Construction Project Manager

Aberthaw Construction Company, Inc., is seeking a qualified Project Manager with experience in commercial construction projects ranging in value from $5 million to $40 million.  Project experience should include ground-up construction for both structural steel buildings and wood framed multi-unit residential projects.  A minimum of 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction is required.

 

Project management duties include, but are not limited to, the following: prepare and file permit documents; analyze and prepare subcontractor buyout scope sheets; negotiate and generate subcontract agreements; prepare, track and maintain project schedules; daily communication and coordination with job-site superintendent; prepare and issue weekly owner and subcontractor meeting minutes; coordinate and prepare owners change orders and tracking logs;  coordinate and prepare RFI’s; review, process and track submittals and shop drawings;  prepare and issue monthly requisitions.  Ideal candidate shall possess strong communication skills and be capable of interacting with subcontractors, project team and owners.

Position is full time and will be based out of our Lowell, MA office.
